When you click the "Start Recording" button, your browser opens its native screen-sharing prompt, asking you to select a display source such as a screen, window, or browser tab, you should choose "tab" or "screen" and check the option to share audio (if it doesn't show up, you won't be able to record it). Although the prompt also includes video options (since the browser requires a video track to initiate capture), the tool immediately extracts just the audio portion for recording. Once you make your selection and grant permission, the recording begins automatically.
When you're finished, simply click the "Stop Recording" button; this stops the capture and displays a download link that lets you save the recording to your device. The interface is intentionally minimal and user-friendly, ensuring that even users unfamiliar with media capture can easily record and download their system audio.
